Hi there! We're Jared and Jen, a couple of public school counselors and LPCs (licensed professional counselors) who've spent the last 15 years cheering on thousands of awesome students through the wild ride of college applications. We've seen the tears, the triumphs, and the nail-biting over those acceptance letters. But we've also seen way too much stress and pressure to get into the most selective school.

We believe in helping students flourish—helping them increase confidence, get to know themselves better, and choose colleges based on what fits them, not some silly ranking. With a whole lot of heart, we created Forget the Rankings: The Values-Driven College Search.

We're here to change the conversation about college, one student (and family and counselor!) at a time. It should be about values, not prestige. We're ready to help you forget the rankings and find your happy place!
